Springfield Armory 911 Nitride is the latest addition to the company’s collection of pocket-sized handguns. It’s a handgun that, from first glance, oozes quality and packs some serious firepower. I recently bought Springfield Armory 911 Nitride revolver, and since then I have had the chance to use it for several shoots and other activities. Here is my honest opinion of the product.
First off, I must say, the design of the 911 Nitride is really something to behold. The first thing that really jumps out is the deep, dark nitride finish. Upon first glance, you can immediately appreciate just how good the aesthetics of the design are. I have no reservations whatsoever in saying that this gun is possibly one of the finest looking handguns on the market. It has a solid, robust design that oozes quality, attention to detail, and precision craftsmanship.
In terms of performance, I have been absolutely blown away. The 911 Nitride is a true powerhouse. The stainless steel 6-round cylinder is capable of holding 6 .357 Magnum rounds or .38 Special rounds, both of which are more than enough for most individuals’ needs. The frame is constructed from an aluminum and steel alloy, which gives it the ideal combination of weight and strength. The DA/SA trigger system allows for precise shots and user-friendly operation. The 3-inch barrel is capable of delivering precise, accurate shots without fail, and is perfect for concealed carry purposes.
The overall construction of the 911 Nitride is virtually unmatched in the handgun market. From the top down, the gun is designed with utmost precision, featuring tight tolerances and smooth and consistent operation. The laser-cut porting and finger grooves on the grip offer a secure and comfortable shooting experience. There are even two different colored G10 grips to choose from, and both perform brilliantly.
One of my favorite features of the 911 Nitride is its built-in safety features. It includes a grip safety, an internal manual safety, and a firing pin safety. These safety features make the gun extremely user-friendly, as they guarantee that it won’t fire unless all the conditions are met. The gun also features an ambidextrous slide stop, which allows for easy and reliable operation with either hand.
In terms of accuracy, the 911 Nitride is top-notch. I’ve been able to shoot accurately at various distances up to 50 yards with no trouble whatsoever. The fiber optic front and adjustable white-dot rear sights offer great accuracy and the highest level of precision during any type of shooting.
Overall, I have been extremely impressed with the Springfield Armory 911 Nitride. This is a handgun that is designed to take abuse and remain operational time and time again. It looks amazing, operates with absolute reliability, and offers remarkable accuracy. For my money, the Springfield Armory 911 Nitride has become my go-to choice for any and all activities that require a reliable and competent handgun.
