The LCRX is a fairly new semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Taurus and designed to fit the needs of law enforcement, home protectors, and competition shooters. The LCRX is a striker fired pistol, so it has the same trigger pull from the first to the last round. This is a great feature for people who don't want the hassle of a hammer-fired gun and are really looking for a consistent shooter. I have had the pleasure of getting some real life range time with the LCRX, and so far my experience with it has been nothing short of excellent.
At first look, the LCRX presents the feel of a higher-end firearm. The matte black finish on the slide lends itself well to a rugged look, and the slide actively locks back for easier chambering of the first round. The frame of the gun itself is composed of polymer, making it light and comfortable to carry. The trigger guard is generously sized, allowing a more comfortable placement of the trigger finger than some other pistols in its size range. The ambidextrous magazine release is definitely a plus as it allows the user to switch to either side depending on preference.
Once I got a feel of the firearm, it was time to take it to the range. The LCRX proved to be extremely accurate. I was able to fire a group of 6 rounds at 25 feet and keep them all within a 3 inch circle. The low bore axis of the gun helps to lessen felt recoil, making it easier to stay on target for multiple shots. During my time at the range, I also noticed that the trigger does not need to be as far back to drop the hammer as some of the other striker fired pistols on the market. This made double-taps and tasks that required fast shooting much easier. Although the trigger pull is not particularly light, it is manageable and did not hinder my performance at the range in any way.
The magazine capacity of the LCRX ranged from 12 to 15 rounds depending on the length of the magazine you purchased. The standard capacity is 15 rounds and I found that it lasted quite a while on my range trip. My 9mm rounds fed smoothly and reliably into the gun without any hiccups. The magazines come with a grip extension, which allowed me to get a better grip on the pistol when carrying it in my belt holster. It also came in handy when shooting the gun from a bench rest, as I had a more secure grip on it when firing from a stationary position.
As for the overall build quality, I have been really impressed with the build of the LCRX. The frame has proven to be sturdy and durable, and the parts have held up to my heavy range sessions without any issues. The fit and finish of the gun is another praiseworthy aspect, as the slide, barrel, and sights all line up perfectly. The lone downside I can find in my review is the cost. The LCRX retails for over $400, which may be a bit much for those who are just getting into the firearms market.
All in all, I am very pleased with my experience with the LCRX. Its accuracy, reliability and build quality are all top notch, and it definitely fits the bill for those looking for a capable semi-automatic pistol. The trigger pull is manageable and great for target shooting, and the magazine capacity is decent for the price. I would definitely recommend the LCRX to any shooter who is in the market for a dependable and accurate handgun.

Cons:
Anyone looking for a lightweight, durable crossbow with a high shooting velocity should consider purchasing an LCRX. However, those who are looking for a long range crossbow or an especially powerful crossbow should look elsewhere.

The LCRx has an impressive accuracy, especially for a short barreled, light frame revolver. With the 1.87 inch barrel, you get very tight groupings with some loads, even out to 25 yards. This accuracy is consistent even with rapid fire. With the crisp trigger pull, you will be able to get more accurate shots with the LCRx. The adjustable rear sight and other features help make it all possible. This revolver also has a much lower felt recoil than most other revolvers, further aiding accuracy. All in all, the LCRx is a dependable and accurate revolver.
