Son of Liberty Gun Works is well known for creating top-shelf firearms, so the expectation of quality and performance was already high going into testing this gun. We weren’t disappointed. Right out of the box the cold, dry barrel handled well and pointed very accurately. Shooting fairly smooth with minimal recoil, it quickly impressed us with its low muzzle flip and little felt recoil. The accuracy of the gun was amazing, and we were hitting consistent bullseyes in various shooting drills. It was easy to accessorize as well with the 10” free-floating KeyMod handguard providing a great balance where we mounted an optic and flashlight with no trouble at all.
When it comes to ergonomics, the Soul Snatcher Edition 11.5 did not disappoint. The 1911-style grip angle felt great in our hands and the interchangeable G-10 grip panels provided maximum comfort and improved the pistol’s handling abilities. The frame was constructed from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, which gave the gun a solid weight and feel when shouldering.
The barrel of the gun was constructed with 416R stainess steel and cut with a hybrid polygonal rifling to increase accuracy and reduce lead and copper deposits in the bore. This ensures improved accuracy and longevity of the weapon.
The Soul Snatcher Edition 11.5 is equipped with one of the most advanced trigger systems we have ever used. The trigger is adjustable and smooth, and also light to help with accuracy. In addition, there is no take-up or oversized break required when firing, which is always a great plus when shooting rapidly. As you can tell, the engineering is on point with this gun.
The end of the slide features an enlarged and serrated cocking surface that provides a solid grip no matter the conditions. The bottom of the frame is machined for an accessory rail, making it easy to mount a variety of lights and laser sights. The trigger guard is undercut for a higher grip, allowing you more control over the gun in rapid fire situations.
Our testers found that even though the gun felt heavy at first, after a few rounds, it became easy to handle and had minimal felt recoil. Although the gun was designed for competition, we found it to be a great gun for home defense and concealed carry due to its size and weight.

The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Soul Snatcher Edition is an incredibly accurate rifle. The Soul Snatcher features a full length, one piece, carbon fiber wrapped handguard with M-LOK attachment points for a variety of aftermarket accessories. The 16.25-inch barrel is made from 1-in-8-inch twist rifling and is topped off with an A2-style birdcage flash hider. The forend also houses a picatinny accessory rail, perfect for mounting optics.
Inside the Soul Snatcher is a 15”, lightweight free-float tube with M-LOK slots, which promotes a stable platform for mounting accessories. The barrel features a mid-length gas system and a low profile adjustable gas block. This allows the shooter to properly tune the gun to their individual ammunition and accuracy needs.
