The SIG Sauer P365XL is the last line of defense when it comes to pistols. Designed to provide a small and lightweight firearm with the firepower of a larger duty-style pistol, the P365XL lives up to its billing in every way. This pistol has been designed with a number of features that make it an excellent choice for concealed carry, personal defense, and home defense applications.

The P365XL is a striker-fired, full-size, semi-automatic handgun, chambered in 9mm. It comes in Black Hard-Coat Anodized Finish, and also in Flat Dark Earth (FDE). It follows the P365 line of pistols, with a slightly larger frame size than the original P365. It also features an extended 3.7-inch barrel, providing improved sight radius and accuracy from the factory. In addition to the improved sight radius, the P365XL also features a flat trigger with a longer pull for enhanced control and consistent trigger pull.

The P365XL also comes with three magazines: (2) 12-round magazines and (1) 15-round magazine. All magazines are flush-fitting for concealed carry applications, but extend to an ergonomic grip length. The magazines also feature a stainless steel construction with a black Polymer follower and baseplate.

In addition to the magazines, the P365XL also includes a host of features for improved function, accuracy, and overall performance. The pistol includes an X-Series Extended Steel Chassis, featuring an aggressively textured grip with G-10 style side panels. The slide includes an X-RAY3 day/night sight system, and front accessibility pin for easy disassembly. The slide also offers a stainless steel guide rod, featuring a drop-safe design for increased durability.

For recoil mitigation, the P365XL includes a Nitron-finished stainless steel slide with front and rear serrations. The single-action trigger is factory-tuned for a trigger pull weight of 6 lbs. The frame offers an accessory rail for easily mounting a light or laser attachment.

The P365XL is a well-made compact pistol that offers concealment, accuracy, and reliability. It is designed to be carried daily, whether concealed or open. The pistol is relatively small and lightweight, with its weight falling between 20-22 ounces, depending on the exact model. Its size makes it easy to conceal and carry, and its large grip circumference allows for secure handling and control. The pistol feels very balanced and comfortable in the hands.

The 5.5-pound trigger pull is smooth and crisp, allowing for quick follow up shots. Additionally, the smooth slide operation and snag-free design make the pistol an excellent choice for self-defense.

The P365XL also raises the bar when it comes to accuracy. The pistol is extremely accurate, and its longer 3.7-inch barrel provides greater sight radius and more velocity at the muzzle. It has excellent iron sight accuracy, and some shooters have even reported successful experiences with the attached micro red-dot optics. The extended length of the slide also helps to reduce recoil and muzzle rise when firing the P365XL.
