I find that it breaks quite cleanly and does not have a lot of pre-travel or over-travel. It has a very short and fast reset. The recoil of the CW9 is mild, and I find it to be very accurate and easy to control when shooting. The sights are good, and I find that they provide a quick and accurate sight picture.
Overall, the CW9 is an excellent choice for a concealed carry self-defense pistol. It is lightweight, reliable, accurate, and easy to conceal. The CW9 is not a gun intended for competition and that’s okay. It is meant to be a close quarters fighting handgun that can be carried and ready for action in seconds. In terms of reliability, I can attest to it as I have yet to experience a single malfunction in over 1000 rounds of various ammo. The trigger is very heavy but I shoot it accurately without any issues. The sights are good and they provide a quick and accurate sight picture.
The CW9 is an excellent carry gun and a great value for the price. It is simple, reliable, and accurate. It is a solid choice for anyone on a budget who needs a reliable self-defense weapon. For those who are looking for a higher-end pistol, other KAHR models may be a better choice. But for those who need reliability on a budget, the CW9 is a great choice.
