223 Wylde 16" Mid-Length AR-15
When it comes to rifles, there is no denying that the AR-15 has become one of the most popular weapons in the United States. From its use by the military and law enforcement, to its popularity amongst hunters, marksmen, and recreational shooters, the AR-15 is the perfect rifle for any situation. With so many different models and manufacturers out there, it can be difficult to decide which one to get. That is why I am glad that I can write this review of one of the very best AR-15s on the market today, the Bravo Company Manufacturing BCM4 223 Wylde 16” Mid-Length AR-15.
I first encountered the BCM4 at a gun show and was instantly impressed by its quality and overall look. As soon as I held it in my hands I knew that it was something special. The mid-length gas system gives the BCM4 a much smoother and softer recoil than other AR-15s I have used in the past. Thanks to the increased barrel length, the gun also has better accuracy and less muzzle rise than shorter AR-15s.
The BCM4’s impressive build quality is also something that stands out when you hold it in your hands. It has a forged aircraft-grade aluminum upper and lower receiver that is extremely durable and strong. The integrated trigger guard is also reassuring and allows the gun to be fired from different positions with ease.
The BCM4 also comes equipped with top-tier components that will ensure reliable and consistent performance. The barrel is made of chrome moly lined nitrogen gas-filled steel and is capable of shooting .223 Wylde rounds. It is 16 inches in length, so it is shorter than a typical AR-15 and is ideal for close-quarters combat situations. The gun also comes fitted with BCM’s M4-style military trigger, which has a crisp and clean break.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, the BCM4 also comes with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a top-tier AR-15. The gun is equipped with a Picatinny rail on the upper receiver for mounting accessories such as scopes and red dot sights. I spent some time shooting the BCM4 and it quickly became one of my favorite AR-15s. The recoil and muzzle rise was much less than I was expecting, making it easy to get back on target quickly. The accuracy and handling were also top-notch. The BCM4 felt well-balanced in my hands, and the trigger was smooth and comfortable to use. I felt confident when firing the gun, and I was easily hitting targets from 25 yards out.
Overall, the BCM4 223 Wylde is one of the best AR-15s on the market today. Its mid-length gas system and high-quality construction allow for smooth and reliable performance with each shot. I would highly recommend this rifle to anyone who is in the market for an AR-15, whether they are a beginner or an experienced shooter.
